The newly launched Kobra S1 Max Combo enables users to produce relatively large, multicolour 3D prints. Its enclosed design and heated build chamber help ensure high-quality results.

Anycubic is a global brand with a fairly extensive lineup of 3D printers. The company is currently running a preorder campaign for the upcoming Kobra S1 Max Combo. Those who preorder early must pay a non-refundable deposit and will receive a discount in return, making it possible to purchase a unit for as low as $749. Prices will increase gradually as the product nears its official launch date. Anycubic has yet to announce a shipping date, though the printer is unlikely to arrive this year, considering the early-bird promotion runs until 31 January 2026.

Print with up to 16 filaments

The Kobra S1 Max Combo is an enclosed 3D printer with multifilament support. However, because it only has a single printhead, filaments need to be cut when switching colours or material types, resulting in a small amount of waste. The build chamber, nozzle and print bed can be heated to 65°C, 350°C and 120°C (149°F, 662°F and 248°F), respectively. When paired with multiple add-on modules, the printer can support up to 16 filaments simultaneously, including carbon fibre-reinforced options.

Large build chamber and touchscreen

As the “Max” in its name suggests, the printer features a sizeable build chamber measuring 350 x 350 x 350 mm (13.78 x 13.78 x 13.78 in) – a step up from the 250 x 250 x 250 mm (9.84 x 9.84 x 9.84 in) offered by the standard Kobra S1 Combo (available here on Amazon). With overall dimensions of 502.7 x 483 x 584 mm (19.79 x 19.02 x 22.99 in), the Kobra S1 Max Combo will ship largely preassembled. Other notable features include a touchscreen and a 720p camera.
