Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro 3D printer launches with 16 colors, filament drying and discount

Anycubic is a fairly well-known manufacturer of 3D printers that is also active in Europe and Germany, offering a relatively broad portfolio across multiple price segments. With the Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo, the company has another 3D printer in the pipeline that is set to go on sale soon. During the early-bird phase, the 3D printer will be available for $459, and the first 1,000 customers are also set to receive two free spools of filament.
This is a CoreXY printer with an enclosed build chamber. From a design standpoint, that brings several advantages. In most cases, the print chamber can be temperature-controlled, cold drafts are less likely to cause stripping, and fumes are typically filtered as well. According to Anycubic, the build volume measures 250 x 250 x 250 mm, which is essentially a standard size. The company is advertising an improved hotend that supports temperatures of up to 320°C. Compatibility with different filament types is included.
The ACE 2 Pro is a system for filament storage and drying. With the ACE 2 Pro, drying at temperatures of up to 149°F is now supported as well. Temperature and humidity can be actively monitored and adjusted accordingly. Filament runout can also be detected. Printing in up to 16 colors is possible when multiple units are used.
