Ayaneo releases full specs of the Pocket Vert including its processor; reveals details about pre-orders
It has been months since Ayaneo first announced that a new premium vertical handheld dubbed the Pocket Vert was in development. However, it has taken its sweet time in revealing the full details of the hardware, instead opting for periodic hours-long sharing sessions during which it discloses a few details. It had one of those sharing sessions today, during which it revealed the full specifications, including the processor that powers the Pocket Vert.
Ayaneo Pocket Vert Specifications
As previously reported, the Pocket Vert will have a 3.5-inch LTPS LCD panel with a 1440 x 1600 resolution (615 PPI), a 60Hz refresh rate, and 450 nits of brightness. Now, Ayaneo has revealed that the Pocket Vert will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform. The processor was released in May 2022 and powered phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the OnePlus 10T.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Thanks to having a MicroSD card slot, users can add more storage. The Pocket Vert will also have a full-function USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Other features of the Ayaneo Pocket Vert include a 9-axis gyroscope, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and an X-Axis linear motor. The handheld will feature a 6,000mAh battery like the Ayaneo Pocket DMG and run Android 14 out of the box.

In addition to revealing the full specs, Ayaneo also showcased a few first-party accessories for the Pocket Vert, including a hard case, a dock, and a cleaning cloth. A cleaning cloth is necessary as the entire front of the device is covered in glass and easily smudges.
Ayaneo Pocket Vert Pricing and Availability
The Pocket Vert still doesn't have a specific release date, but Ayaneo says there will be a launch event in late December. It will also begin accepting reservations today (for those in China). Those who sign up to reserve the handheld will be required to pay a deposit fee of CNY 1699 (~$240/€207). They will also get all of the accessories for free.
