One-Netbook is edging towards introducing its long-awaited alternative to the latest Asus ROG Flow Z13 (curr. $2,169 on Amazon). Previewed over the summer, the company initially teased that the Super X would combine a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU with a 2.8K AMOLED display and an 83.5 Wh battery. Additionally, the 2-in-1 was said to deliver up to 120 W to its AMD Strix Halo APU, a 50% boost on the 80 W that the ROG Flow Z13 offers to the same chipset.
Now, One-Netbook has clarified that the Super X will come in two versions, like its recent OneXFly Apex release. Specifically, the company plans to sell the Super X with and without liquid cooling capabilities. By the looks of the images below, the liquid cooling solution adds considerably more bulk at the top of the Super X than previous product renders indicated.
If the OneXFly Apex is anything to go by, then One-Netbook will restrict the air-cooled version of the Super X to an 80 W TDP. While we await more details about the Super X, One-Netbook has teased that the Super X is coming soon to Kickstarter, the campaign for which is already available to view. Also, One-Netbook is now taking reservation deposits on JD.com in China. Unfortunately, a precise release date remains unknown for now. Please see the video below for more details.
