At the end of last year, One-Netbook expanded its nascent OneXFly division with the OneXFly F1 Pro (curr. $1,439 on Amazon), a Windows handheld that combined a 7-inch OLED display with AMD's Strix Point platform. Now, the company has released OneXFly Apex, which it claims builds on the OneXFly F1 and OneXFly F1 Pro with superior performance on the one hand and improved cooling on the other hand.
Also referred to as a next-generation handheld, the OneXFly Apex can be configured with the Ryzen AI Max 385 or Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a pair of Strix Halo APUs that feature 8 and 16 CPU cores based on AMD's Zen 5 architecture. Additionally, about 25% separates the pair's iGPU performance, with a Radeon 8050S inside the Ryzen AI Max 385 and a Radeon 8060S gracing the Ryzen AI Max+ 395.
On top of that, the OneXFly Apex can be configured with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8,000 MT/s and 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage expandable by a microSD card, a Mini SSD or both split for up to 8 TB of storage across three drives. Moreover, One-Netbook is offering the Apex in two variants, a Standard Version and a Liquid Cooled option that adds 70 g to the standard model's 669 g weight. In return, the Liquid Cooled Version allows the Ryzen AI Max 385 or Ryzen AI Max+ 395 to run at 120 W, rather than 80 W to which they are restricted in the air-cooled edition.
Regardless of which version you opt for, the Apex will come with an 85 Wh external battery and an IPS display that spans 8-inches diagonally. According to One-Netbook, this display delivers up to 500 nits peak brightness with 100% sRGB colour space coverage, a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution and a 120 Hz variable refresh rate (VRR). The OneXFly Apex starts at $1,399 on Indiegogo and should begin shipping on January 31, 2026.
