Youyeetoo has introduced the NestDisk, which is presented as a versatile system that can be used as a regular mini PC or NAS. This palm-sized system has four PCIe SSD slots and supports 2.5-inch drives, and per the company, it can be equipped with up to 16 TB of storage.
Under the hood, the NestDisk packs the Intel N150, which is a Twin Lake CPU that powers many entry-level mini PCs. Youyeetoo paired the processor with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage. The system ships with OpenMediaVault installed, a Linux distribution designed for NAS with remote access and Docker support. Users can replace it with other OS like Windows, Unraid, or TrueNAS.
While the mini PC is small in size, there is a decent selection of ports, including:
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C power only
- 1x full-function Type-C
- 2x 2.5G Ethernet
- 2x HDMI
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
For wireless connectivity, the Youyeetoo NestDisk has Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6. Other highlights of the mini PC include an active cooling fan, an integrated SSD heatsink, and support for PD (Sharge Pixel 140 curr. $79.90 on Amazon). The NAS starts at $198.06, and the company offers the option to pre-configure it with up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD.
