Beelink has now launched its latest network-attached storage (NAS) solution after teasing its release earlier this month. While best known for mini-PCs, Beelink also introduced the ME mini NAS earlier this year (curr. $359 on Amazon). Packing either an Intel Processor N95 or Processor N150, the ME Mini delivered six M.2 2280 slots for up to 24 TB of storage.
By contrast, the new ME Pro can handle up to 72 TB via three M.2 2280 SSD slots and a pair of 3.5-inch HDD slots. With that being said, the ME Pro can only be configured with the Processor N95, a Twin Lake architecture processor with 4 cores, 4 threads and a 3.4 GHz peak clock speed. Also, the Processor N95 ensures that the ME Pro can provide PCIe 3.0 bandwidth to its SSDs.
Additionally, Beelink offers its new NAS with a single 12 GB of RAM configuration and a 120 W external power supply. As the pictures below show, the ME Pro contains a front-mounted USB Type-A (10 Gbps) port too, as well as a pair of rear-mounted Type-A ports, one Type-C and a full-sized HDMI port capable of outputting at 4K and 60 Hz.
Most importantly, Beelink complements a single 2.5 Gigabit port with a faster 5 Gigabit alternative. The ME Pro starts at CNY 1,848 (~$262) and rises to CNY 1,999 (~$284) with 128 GB of built-in storage. While Beelink has hinted at global availability, it has not confirmed pricing or a release date outside of China yet.
