It seems that Xiaomi is not done with new product releases this season. To recap, the company started autumn in the northern hemisphere by launching the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro globally (curr. $872.90 on Amazon). Then about a month afterwards it unveiled the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max, but only in China.
Now, it seems that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and other devices are imminent. Recently, Xiaomi CEO Lu Weibing hinted that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra would arrive before Christmas. Now, the same executive has reiterated as much in a recent Weibo post. Specifically, Lu Weibing has highlighted Xiaomi's next conference, which it has scheduled for December 17.
Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station has suggested that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will debut with Dimensity 8 series and Dimensity 9 series mid-range smartphones in its wake. As the screenshot above highlights, a smartwatch, two pairs of headphones, and a mid-range tablet are rumoured, as are fresh IoT products.
To that end, an unreleased Redmi smartphone with the model number 2602BRT18C has surfaced on the SRRC in China. Expected to be a Redmi Turbo 5 series model, all the devices mentioned should debut before February 16, which marks the start of the Spring Festival on Chinese New Year's Eve.
