The Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026 is almost identical to its predecessor, but with two upgrades. Firstly, Huawei has increased the RAM from 8 GB to 12 GB. Secondly, the 8,800 mAh battery of the new model can be charged at up to 40 watts instead of just 22.5 watts.
The MatePad 11.5 S 2026 is positioned as a mid-range tablet with a relatively simple design. Huawei has opted for narrow bezels, a slightly rounded frame and an aluminum back that comes in either green or dark gray. The tablet features an 11.5-inch IPS display, offering a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 500 nits.
The 6.1-millimeter-thick, 515-gram tablet is said to be ideal for multimedia applications thanks to its quad speakers. The Huawei M-Pencil Pro and optional keyboard cover also make the tablet suitable for productivity applications. The 8 MP f/2.0 selfie camera is located at the edge of the screen, while the 13 MP f/1.8 main camera is housed in a pill-shaped camera module. Wi-Fi 6, Huawei NearLink, and USB-C 3.0 round off the features.
