Yesterday, early details about global versions of three Redmi Note 15 smartphones emerged online. Following on from a recent benchmark leak, Ytechb shared evidence not just of device specifications but also alleged pricing too. Now, Sparkandy has listed the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, which it claims is coming in Black, Glacier Blue and Mocha Brown colour options with a choice between 256 GB and 512 GB of storage.
As expected, the global model blends hardware from its Chinese counterpart with some found in its predecessor (curr. $405.99 on Amazon). For instance, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will be available globally with the same 6.83-inch and 120 Hz AMOLED display that resolves at 2,772 x 1,280 pixels with 3,200 nits peak brightness. Moreover, Xiaomi will continue to install Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, but only up to 12 GB of RAM.
However, the 200 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP auxiliary cameras from the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus return, albeit with the 32 MP front-facing camera from the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus sold in China. Also, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus features a 6,500 mAh battery with 100 W wired charging globally, a 500 mAh reduction from its Chinese counterpart, but a 1,390 mAh increase over the global Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.
The global Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will charge more slowly than its predecessor though, by virtue of dropping from 120 W to 100 W wired charging and featuring a 27% larger battery. Unfortunately, Sparkandy confirms that Xiaomi has dropped an included charging brick for this generation. The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will retail for €529 with 512 GB of storage, with a €499 starting price rumoured for its 256 G
