The Motorola Edge 70 series so far only includes the ultra-thin Edge 70, but Motorola is also expected to unveil the Edge 70 Ultra soon. The top device in this series has already appeared in render images published by Android Headlines.
According to these pictures, Motorola has opted for a design similar to the Edge 70, but the square camera module is noticeably larger. Motorola further equips the phone with three cameras and an LED flash. The glossy finish of the camera bump matches the color of the metal frame. Additionally, the back features a striking fabric texture that should provide a comfortable grip. Based on these renders, the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra will be offered in green and blue, but more colors are likely to follow.
The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the smartphone, while another button can be seen on the left. This is likely a programmable button that’s primarily intended for AI features. Android Headlines expects that the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra will be officially introduced in early 2026.
So far, just few details about the phone’s remaining specifications are known at this point. A benchmark leak has revealed that the smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which suggests it will be positioned as an affordable flagship. According to rumors, the phone will also feature a periscope telephoto camera and a relatively thin and lightweight chassis, but more specific info on the cameras, thickness or weight is not yet available.
