The Find N5 is not even a year old yet, with Oppo having announced the device in mid-February. Nonetheless, leakers claims to have received information about a successor ahead of time. To recap, Digital Chat Station announced to their followers last week initial details about the Find N6, including its usage of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Shortly afterwards, Debayan Roy reported that Oppo was testing the same foldable in India. As the embedded tweet below shows, Roy asserted that manufacturers who test new smartphones in India tend to release them too. In other words, Roy believed that there was a good chance that the Find N6 could reach Indian audiences.
However, Yogesh Brar has other ideas. Also writing on X, Brar reports that Oppo does not intend to offer the Find N6 in India at this stage. Likewise, the leaker considers availability of the OnePlus Open 2 in India to be 'dicey' as well. If neither make it to what previously represented one of OnePlus' key markets, it seems unlikely that either the Find N6 or Open 2 will challenge the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,599.99 on Amazon) globally either.
