Huawei has just unveiled a slew of new devices in China. Typically, the company waits a while before it begins offering any new product internationally. For instance, the Pura 80 Ultra received a global release about a month after Huawei presented it in China.
However, that may not be the case for Huawei's latest flagship releases. So far, the company has only confirmed international availability for the Mate X7. At this stage, we would not be surprised if members of the Mate 80 series joined the Mate X7 during the same event. Conversely, the lack of a MateBook Fold global release indicates that the MatePad Edge will not launch simultaneously too, though.
Huawei will officially present the Mate X7 in Dubai on December 12. If past Mate X series releases are anything to go by, then the global model will carry over all the hardware that Huawei showcased yesterday in China. Please see our Mate X7 launch article to learn how Huawei's latest foldable differs from its predecessor and contemporaries like the Magic V5, Find N5 and the Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,599 on Amazon).
