The Vivo X200 series was first introduced in October 2024 in China. In the global market, the company has introduced several models in the X200 series, including the standard X200, X200 FE, and X200 Pro. A new model is reportedly on the way: the Vivo X200T. A new report (via Smartprix) reveals key information regarding the upcoming phone.
The source reveals that the Vivo X200T will be released in late January in India. However, there are no concrete details about the launch in other regions. The smartphone previously appeared on the GSMA IMEI database with the model number “V2561."
Furthermore, the source suggests that the X200T is a ‘mix of the X200 and the X200 FE.' This suggests the device that may serve as a more affordable alternative to the newer X300 series, which recently received a global launch.
There are no confirmed specifications for the X200T; however, the report suggests it could feature a compact design similar to the X200 FE while retaining a Zeiss camera setup and placing more emphasis on performance. For reference, the X200 uses the Dimensity 9400 chipset, and the X200 FE uses the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. In separate news, the company's upcoming top-of-the-line offering, the X300 Ultra, has recently appeared in a certification listing in China.
