Earlier today, we reported on the latest rumours regarding Oppo's next foldable smartphone. In summary, Digital Chat Station expects the Find N6 to be the first foldbale to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. By contrast, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Galaxy Z Fold7 will likely remain on shelves until summer 2026 (curr. $1,599 on Amazon).
In the same breath, Digital Chat Station appears to have revealed early information about the Find X9s. For context, Oppo unveiled the Find X8s in April, five a half months after presenting the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro in China. With the Find X9 series debuting a week before its predecessor's first anniversary, we would not be surprised if the Find X9s receives a late March launch or one during the first week of April.
Currently, Digital Chat Station reports that Oppo will deliver the device with MediaTek's unannounced Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset mated to a circa 7,000 mAh silicon carbon battery. Both upgrades over the equivalents found inside the Find X8s, these components are said to be complemented by 200 MP primary (Sony IMX09E) and 3x periscope (IMX09A) cameras with 'impressive ultra-telephoto capabilities'. Moreover, Digital Chat Station believes that Oppo will round off this hardware with a 6.3-inch display just like the Find X8s before it.
