The OnePlus Ace 6T is getting the beloved Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case
When OnePlus announced the OnePlus 13s, it launched a one-of-its-kind case called the Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case. The case has holes that can be filled with small cube-like buttons to form different patterns. The case was a hit among fans, leading OnePlus to launch it for the OnePlus 15. Now, it has been announced that the OnePlus Ace 6T will be getting a similar case.
According to a post on the OnePlus Weibo account, the OnePlus Ace 6T will get a Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case, offering protection and a way for users to personalize their phones. OnePlus also states that the magnetic case is compatible with a handful of Oppo Mag or OnePlus Mag accessories, such as the OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Magnetic Phone Cooler. The case should also let owners use magnetic accessories from other brands, such as the Belkin MagSafe Vent Mount Pro (available on Amazon for $29.95).
Unfortunately, the OnePlus Ace 6T doesn't have support for wireless charging, so magnetic wireless charging accessories, such as the OnePlus Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh or the OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger, won't be useful.
Based on the images above, the case appears to be a light gray like those of the OnePlus 13s and OnePlus 15. However, it will be nice to see it launch in other colors.
While the post clearly states the case is for the OnePlus Ace 6T, it is expected that the OnePlus 15R will also get a similar case since the two phones are practically the same. Unfortunately, there's no info on how much the case will cost when it arrives. However, the OnePlus 15's case costs $24.99, so a similar price is expected.
