OnePlus will launch the Ace 6T in China as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship phone. It will make a global debut as the OnePlus 15R, possibly with some tweaked specs. So far, the company has revealed a handful of specs, and now, the brand has showcased the camera capabilities of the smartphone.
With the new teasers, the company has also confirmed that the primary camera on the back is a 50 MP Sony sensor, which is the highlight of the shared samples. It has a 24 mm focal length and an f/1.8 aperture. Among the pictures shared, there are portraits, which appear to be well-detailed, with one featuring good-looking bokeh in the background.
The company further notes that the primary camera of the soon-to-be OnePlus 15R is paired with a flagship image algorithm developed by Oppo. This, per the brand, allows the affordable flagship phone to capture images with a relatively high dynamic range, which has been showcased through a different set of samples.
In another set of samples, there's a night capture, and the phone seems to have handled a low-light scenario reasonably well. There isn't noticeable graininess in the image, and the lights in the photo are exposed well. Of course, it's worth mentioning that these samples are all coming from OnePlus, and they should be taken with a decent amount of salt. After all, companies are known not to be honest with these pre-launch camera samples.
For those who missed our past reports, the OnePlus Ace 6T will launch in China on December 3, 2025. It's confirmed to sport IP66/68/69/69K ratings, a flagship-grade fingerprint sensor, an 8,300 mAh battery (20K Anker Zolo power bank curr. $29.99 on Amazon), and a 6.83-inch display with a 165 Hz refresh rate.
