Honor has introduced the Magic 8 series in China in mid-October 2025, and this lineup brought two of the first flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Among the two, the Pro is now officially stepping outside the Chinese market.
To be specific, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is now available to pre-order in Malaysia, and the configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage has a pre-sale tag of RM 4,599. There's another config available, which brings 16 GB of memory and bumps the storage to 1 TB, and it costs RM 5,199.
These Malaysian prices convert to around $1,113 and $1,258, respectively. These variants retail for about $847 and $946, respectively. To sweeten the deal, Honor is throwing in an Insta360 Ace Pro in the Malaysian pre-order package, and there are other promotional benefits available.
As for the specs, the Malaysian Honor Magic 8 Pro has the same spec sheet as its Chinese counterpart. That includes the relatively large 7,100 mAh battery, which supports 80 W wireless and 100 W wired fast charging (160 W Anker Prime charger curr. $99.99 on Amazon). The 6.71-inch display of the phone is another highlight, featuring an HBM brightness rating of 1,800 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
