OnePlus will not be launching the Ace 6T until December 3. Nonetheless, the company continues to tease more details about the device on Chinese social media. For instance, OnePlus showcased the gaming performance of its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone yesterday.
Now, the company has confirmed that the Ace 6T will feature the largest battery of any smartphone it has released so far. To recap, the Ace 6 claimed that crown last month with a 7,800 mAh capacity for a 500 mAh bump over the OnePlus 15. In a new series of teasers, OnePlus has revealed that the Ace 6T will carry the same advantage over the Ace 6 thanks to an 8,300 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired charging.
Meanwhile, China Telecom has offered up a few Ace 6T specifications that OnePlus has yet to confirm. For example, the network carrier indicates that the Ace 6T's 165 Hz display measures 6.83-inches diagonally and sits within a 163.41 × 77.04 × 8.32 mm housing that would make the Ace 6T slightly thicker, taller and wider than the OnePlus 15. Moreover, the device will combine 50 MP primary, 8 MP secondary and 16 MP front-facing cameras with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, but only a USB 2.0 standard Type-C port.
For reference, while OnePlus may only make the Ace 6T available in China, it should reach the rest of the world on December 17 as a OnePlus 13R successor. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen at this stage whether the Ace 6T's huge 8,300 mAh battery will reach the OnePlus 15R. With that being said, an improvement over the 6,000 mAh battery powering the OnePlus 13R seems probable at this stage (curr. $549 on Amazon).
