New OnePlus 15T leak reveals core specs of upcoming compact flagship phone

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 6T in China, which will be among the first phones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. This smartphone is also expected to make a global debut, but it's unclear what moniker it will have in the international market.

Interestingly, it seems that the OnePlus Ace 6T isn't the only T-named phone that the company is currently working on. Early information about an upcoming performance-focused flagship phone, named the OnePlus 15T, has emerged, and a new leak shares the possible core specs of the smartphone.

According to the leak, which comes from OnePlus Club, the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.31-inch display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. This information matches what Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo leaker, recently shared about a soon-to-launch OnePlus phone.

The report from OnePlus Club adds that the phone will have a flat display with symmetrical bezels. It also shares that the OnePlus 15T will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the same as the non-T phone. Even the battery capacity is expected to be in the same range, at over 7,000 mAh, per the leak (130 W Ugreen Nexode 20K power bank curr. $59.99 on Amazon).

Other than that, the upcoming compact phone is expected to feature a metal frame, IP68/69 ingress protection ratings, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The new leak didn't share anything about the camera setup, but judging by the past releases, it will be slightly inferior to the OnePlus 15.

As for the launch timeline, the new leak from the OnePlus Club doesn't mention it, but Digital Chat Station previously reported that it's scheduled for early 2026.
