OnePlus is about to release a new smartphone in China, the Ace 6T. While the brand has yet to confirm it, the company's teaser somewhat confirmed that it will be rebranded as the OnePlus 15R in the global market. Ahead of the Chinese launch, this Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship phone has been officially showcased in new photos.
These photos showcase the soon-to-be OnePlus 15R in three colors, and one of them appears to be inspired by the Thunder Purple color of the OnePlus 6T. It's called Electric Purple, and this is something that Digital Chat Station, a credible Weibo leaker, has already hinted at before. As for the other two colorways, they are called Shadow Green and Flash Black.
In addition, the photos have confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 6T will come with a dual camera setup on the rear, with a similar-looking camera island as the OnePlus 15. While the brand didn't confirm it yet, these two are expected to be 50 MP sensors. The company has, however, confirmed that the phone will sport a straight display and a lightweight build.
Some of the recently shared official photos show the front of the Ace 6T, and they confirm slim bezels. Another key detail officially hinted at by the company is a large battery. As the recent leaks have suggested, the battery's capacity will indeed be over 8,000 mAh (10K Anker MagGo power bank curr. $54.99 on Amazon). However, it's unclear whether the OnePlus 15R will launch internationally with the same battery.
Other than that, the new teasers share that the OnePlus Ace 6T will have a dedicated shortcut key, which will function similarly to the Action Button found on recent iPhone models. There's still no official word on when this new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship phone will launch, but it's expected to make a Chinese debut in late November 2025.
