After rounds of teasers, the design of the OnePlus 15R has been officially unveiled, and as expected, it's basically a rebrand of the Ace 6T that's launching in China. Speaking of which, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship is also set for an imminent launch in the global market.
To be specific, as OnePlus has revealed, the 15R will make an international launch on December 17, 2025. The Chinese variant, on the other hand, is set to launch within November 2025, and it seems that the global market will be missing one of the key colorways of the device.
As OnePlus has revealed in China, the Ace 6T will come in Shadow Green, Flash Black, and Thunder Purple. Among the three, the OnePlus 15R will be offered in the former two, while the last one, which is said to be inspired by the Electric Purple of the OnePlus 6T, will remain China-exclusive.
The company has also confirmed that the Chinese Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 phone will feature an 8,000+ mAh battery, which could be the same for the global OnePlus 15R (10K Anker Nano 45 W power bank curr. $39.99 on Amazon). It's also confirmed to sport IP66/68/69/69K ratings, making it "adventure-proof."
Other core specs of the phone are still under wraps, but they will be confirmed with the launch of the Ace 6T in China. The company has yet to reveal the launch price of the OnePlus 15R, but it will be more affordable than the OnePlus 15, which starts at $900.
