Leak shares more about new affordable OnePlus phone with '9K level' battery

The OnePlus smartphone portfolio has seen a handful of new additions lately, but it seems that the company isn't taking a break just yet. Earlier in November 2025, a report about a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 OnePlus phone emerged, and now, Digital Chat Station has shared more about the rumored device.

In the latest report, the credible Weibo tipster shares that the OnePlus phone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will come with hardware-level chip enhancements. These optimizations could make the upcoming phone perform better than the smartphones that are powered by the same SoC.

Digital Chat Station adds that the phone will feature a 6.78-inch display. It will be a flat screen, and there's a possibility that it will sport a 165 Hz refresh rate, but if that doesn't happen, it will be a 144 Hz panel. The most interesting bit from the latest report is that it suggests the phone will have a larger battery than the Chinese OnePlus 15R.

To fill you in, the OnePlus Ace 6T, which will be rebranded as the 15R for the global market, has a battery larger than 8,000 mAh. Digital Chat Station says that the upcoming Ace 6 Turbo will feature a "9K" level battery, hinting that the capacity will be around 9,000 mAh.

With these specs, OnePlus is reportedly getting ready to battle competing Turbo-branded phones that are expected to launch soon. The Redmi Turbo 5 is one of them, and per recent reports, this mid-range phone from Xiaomi could have a battery larger than 9,000 mAh (65 W Anker Nano II fast charger curr. $23.99 on Amazon).

While it's still too early to speculate, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo could launch as the Nord 6 in the global market. In China, it's expected to debut during the Spring Festival 2026, which starts in mid-February. More details are expected to emerge soon.
