The iQoo 15 is the company's latest top-of-the-line offering, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It was released in China last month and is set to be released in more markets soon. Meanwhile, a compact version of the phone is reportedly in the works.
The phone appeared in various leaks earlier, but it was uncertain whether iQoo would launch it. An earlier leak (via GSMArena) suggested that the phone was cancelled. However, prominent tipster Smart Pikachu now claims the compact phone is confirmed to launch.
The alleged iQoo 15 Mini is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch display, compared to the larger 6.85-inch display of the standard iQoo 15. Additionally, it may use the Dimensity 9500 processor, though a previous leak pointed to the overclocked Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset. Notably, the phone could pack a large 7,000mAh battery similar to the standard model. It may also feature a metal frame and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The tipster suggests that the iQoo 15 Mini will be launched around April 2026. More compact smartphones are expected to arrive next year, including the OnePlus 15T and Oppo Find X9s. Additionally, Honor is expected to release the Magic 8 Mini.
iQoo is also rumored to launch an 'Ultra' model in the iQoo 15 series. However, little is known about that phone. Do note that there is no official confirmation regarding these models, so treat the information with caution. Separately, the company has confirmed to launch the standard iQoo 15 in India on November 26.
