OnePlus Ace 6T leak suggests Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, large battery and OnePlus 6T-inspired colorway
Last week, a leak surfaced showing an alleged retail box of an unannounced OnePlus phone under the name 'Ace 6 Pro Max'. However, a prominent tipster, Digital Chat Station, has now claimed that it will be called the OnePlus Ace 6T instead.
Sharing more details about the phone on Weibo, the tipster claims the Ace 6T will follow the performance-first approach. It is said to sport the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a high refresh-rate display, and a large battery. Notably, the tipster claims the phone will launch in an Electric Purple colorway, reminiscent of the purple variant that the company offered with the OnePlus 6T back in 2018.
Replying to one of the comments, the tipster suggests that the OnePlus Ace 6T will be positioned above the standard Ace 6. Moreover, the alleged Ace 6T could feature a brand collaboration. For reference, the OnePlus 6T also got a special McLaren Edition. Apart from the Ace 6T, OnePlus is also said to be working on another smartphone in a new Turbo series.
Do note that all the information above is based on a leak. Hence, it should be approached with caution until OnePlus officially confirms the details about the upcoming phone.
