Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T coming to the US and Europe

When talking about the color options available for its handsets, OnePlus was never too generous, but the two black options provided for the OnePlus 6T were almost ridiculous. After all, choosing between Midnight Black and Mirror Black is not actually a choice. To make it worse for international buyers, the Thunder Purple flavor was only announced for the home market. Fortunately for those interested, the US and Europe will get this color option as well.

Described by OnePlus as "elegance infused with the brilliance of thunderstorms," the Thunder Purple color gradient looks quite attractive and vivid than the Midnight Black or Mirror Black. It would be nice for OnePlus to bring some blue and gold options to the table, but we might just be asking too much from the Chinese brand at this stage.

The Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T will come to the US for the same price — US$549 — as the other color choices. It will only be available — starting later this week — with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of internal storage space. The other specs include a generous 6.41-inch AMOLED display, a 16 + 20 MP dual camera setup on the back, a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and all the other goodies one would expect from a flagship that hits the market with Android Pie-based firmware onboard.
