The US carrier T-Mobile is offering US$580 in bill credits when a OnePlus 6T is bought on a monthly plan today (November 26, 2018). However, this deal requires an eligible device to trade in and for the customer to add a new line to their T-Mobile account. It also applies to the 8/128GB variant of the 6T only.

US consumers can get the OnePlus 6T for free with T-Mobile on Cyber Monday...technically. However, this 'deal' requires one of a short-list of devices to trade in acceptable condition. A potential buyer will also have to commit to a monthly bill plan and purchase a whole new line to avail of the offer. For this, they effectively get the value of the phone (US$580) in bill credits.

The devices eligible for the trade-in clause are the:

  • Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Plus or Galaxy S7 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus or Galaxy S8 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Plus or S6 Active
  • Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel or Pixel XL
  • LG V30, V30+, G7, V20 or G6
  • Motorola Z2 Force or Z2 Play
  • OnePlus 5, 5T or 6

These phones must be in an acceptable condition when traded in, however.

Fans of matte rear panels should be advised that the Mirror Black 6T (in the 8GB RAM/128 GB storage configuration) is the only variant T-Mobile offers. In addition, cancelling a plan made under the conditions of this deal may result in the obligation to pay back the remainder of any balance due.
