The pace of OnePlus releases isn’t slowing down. Hot on the heels of the global launch of the flagship OnePlus 15, the company is already gearing up to unveil the OnePlus Ace 6T, a device set to aggressively target the performance phone market. Following a recent official teaser, the OnePlus Ace 6T has now appeared on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench, strongly suggesting an imminent launch.
This Geekbench listing confirms key hardware details. However, OnePlus itself had confirmed some of them shortly before. Perhaps the most exciting is the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. The firm teased that the Ace 6T is expected to be the very first phone in the world to launch with this Qualcomm processor.
OnePlus Ace 6T Geekbench scores show Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 power
The chip’s naming may be a bit confusing for some. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is distinct from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 found in models like the OnePlus 15. The 8 Gen 5 is designed specifically for more affordable performance phones—devices focused on delivering high raw power without the absolute premium price tag. While its performance sits slightly below the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, it still promises serious horsepower.
Returning to the OnePlus Ace 6T (PLR110), the device's raw scores reflect the chip's capability. The combination of Snapdragon hardware and 16GB RAM achieved a single-core score of 2,981 and a multi-core score of 10,136 in the Geekbench 6 CPU tests. These numbers place the 8 Gen 5 in a very strong position.
Global availability remains a question
We expect to see many more powerful devices adopting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the near future. But meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 6T beat them to the punch.
That said, its availability outside of China remains uncertain. This is the first "T" model in the OnePlus Ace series. While a previous model, the OnePlus Ace 5, eventually made its way to global markets as the OnePlus 13R (with some camera tweaks), we will have to wait for an official announcement before confirming if the Ace 6T will enjoy a similar global release. In fact, we already have details about this year's OnePlus 15R, and it will be a phone with different specs than the Ace 6T.
