There are still eight days left until the end of the year, and Huawei has already launched the MatePad 11.5 (2026) tablet, a direct successor to the MatePad 11.5 (2025), which debuted earlier this year in July. Alongside the MatePad 11.5 (2026), the company also unveiled the Nova 15 series and Watch 5 10th Anniversary Edition, which we’ve covered separately, and you can read about it here.
Design-wise, the tablet is very similar to the 2025 model but comes with some minor improvements and a new processor. Speaking more precisely, the MatePad 11.5 comes with two different processors. The Soft Light variant is powered by a Kirin T82 chipset, while the regular model ships with the Kirin T82B processor paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
Furthermore, it retains the same camera setup as its predecessor, featuring a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for capturing selfies and video chats. The tablet has an 11.5-inch IPS LCD display with 2456 x 1600-pixel resolution, a peak brightness of 600 nits and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. The software side is covered by HarmonyOS 5.1, which offers a bunch of AI features and Huawei's AI Health Learning 2 system.
Huawei packs a large 10,100 mAh battery into the MatePad 11.5 (2026) tablet that supports 40 W wired charging (the Anker Nano 45 W charger curr. at $25.99 on Amazon). The rest of the highlights include quad speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and stylus support.
Buyers can choose from deep space gray, frost silver, feather sand purple, and island blue colorways. As for price, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) tablet starts at CNY 1,799 ($255) for the 8 GB + 128 GB Standard Wi-Fi variant, while the Soft Light Edition is priced at CNY 2,099 ($295) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant. The 8 GB + 256 GB model retails for CNY 2,299 ($325), and the 12 GB + 256 GB model costs CNY 2,799 ($395). The device is now available for pre-order via Vmall in China.
