Oppo will launch the Find X9 Ultra early next year as its most premium device of the year. Details of the flagship phone leaked recently and a new leak has now provided further information on what to expect from the camera-centric flagship.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is slated to launch as the ultimate camera smartphone. The Find X8 Ultra's successor is tipped to sport a 200 MP main camera. While this will not be a 1-inch sensor, the leaker claims the Find X9 Ultra will offer better light intake than 1-inch sensors on the market, which potentially hints at a wider-than-normal aperture. The leaker claims this sensor isn't the ISOCELL HP5 either, and it wouldn't be a shock if it turned out to be Sony's new LYTIA-901.
In addition to its 200 MP main camera, the Find X9 Ultra is also said to feature a 200 MP mid-range zoom snapper, and a 50 MP 10x periscope zoom lens. Theoretically, that combo would make it the best zoom device in the world, with companies like Xiaomi and Samsung both taking a step backwards in that department recently. To be exact, no other device on the market offers a 10x optical zoom lens.
