A few days ago, Digital Chat Station shared numerous specifications about the Find X9 Ultra. In summary, the forthcoming device is expected to combine a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with four rear-facing cameras split evenly between 50 MP and 200 MP sensors.
Now, WhyLab has spotted Oppo executive Zhou Yibao teasing the battery capacity of Oppo's next Ultra-branded smartphone. For context, the Find X8 Ultra arrived in April sporting a 6,100 mAh silicon carbon battery to easily outshine the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra at the time (curr. $1,024.99 on Amazon).
However, even the comparatively small Find X9 contains a higher-capacity battery than the Find X8 Ultra. To rectify this, Yibao has reiterated that the Find X9 Ultra has 'a capacity of over 7000mAh' as the image below shows. Therefore, the Find X9 Ultra should surpass the Galaxy S26 Ultra and its circa 5,200 mAh battery.
Unfortunately, specifics about the Find X9 Ultra's battery technology remain unknown for now. Nonetheless, the Find X8 series offers a few insights. Specifically, the Find X8 Ultra launched six months after the Find X8 Pro with a modest 3% battery capacity boost. Thus, we would not be surprised if Oppo did the same with the Find X9 Ultra, which would yield a circa 7,740 mAh capacity, assuming the same increase from the 7,500 mAh battery found inside the Find X9 Pro.
