The OnePlus Turbo has surfaced in early benchmarks. Sporting 16 GB of RAM with a 165 Hz OLED display rumoured, the OnePlus Turbo trades blows with the OnePlus 13R while matching the performance of popular mid-range smartphones like the Poco F7 and Nothing Phone (3).

OnePlus officially confirmed the existence of its new Turbo smartphone series last week. While the company has kept its cards close to its chest since, new Geekbench entries appear to have revealed various details ahead of time. As the screenshots below show, an unreleased OnePlus smartphone with the model number PLU110 has now emerged on the popular benchmarking platform.

Although Geekbench does not confirm the handset's retail name, PLU110 is believed to be the unannounced OnePlus Turbo. According to both listings, the OnePlus Turbo features 16 GB of RAM and Qualcomm's recent Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Found across the Nothing Phone (3) and Poco F7 (curr. $529.99 on Amazon), the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 leverages a single ARM Cortex-X4 chipset clocked at 3.2 GHz.

Complemented by seven Cortex-A720 cores split into three clusters of three, two and two cores running at up to 3 GHz, 2.8 GHz and 2.0 GHz, respectively, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 helps the OnePlus Turbo match the performance of the Poco F7 with averages of 2,143 and 6,883 in Geekbench 6.5. Conversely, OnePlus' unreleased handset trails the Nothing Phone (3) with circa 3% shortfalls in both benchmarks.

As a result, the OnePlus Turbo falls a way behind the recent OnePlus 15R but matches the older OnePlus 13R. Currently, OnePlus is expected to launch its first Turbo smartphone next month in China with a 165 Hz OLED display and a circa 9,000 mAh battery. There is no word yet on international availability, though.
