Following in the footsteps of OEMs like Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus, Honor is ready to present its take on the compact premium smartphone. This device was initially rumored to be branded as the Honor Magic 8 Mini, but new information indicates it could arrive as the Honor Magic 8 Air instead.
As shared by leaker RODENT950, the Honor Magic 8 Air will sport a 6.31-inch LTPS display. Unlike its Magic 8 series siblings, however, it will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500, a direct rival to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Camera-wise, the Magic 8 Air is said to feature a 1/1.5-inch 200 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto shooter.
Seeing as it's branded as an "Air" model, it's no surprise that the Magic 8 Air will be a slim device, with the leaker touting thickness in the 5-6mm range. Other leaked details include a 5,500 mAh battery and four colorways: White, Black, Purple, and Orange. A late January release is expected.
