Following in the footsteps of devices like the OnePlus 13T and Vivo X200 Pro Mini, Honor is preparing to present its own compact flagship phone, with a new leak now revealing key details of the device ahead of its launch.
As shared by Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic8 Mini is set to arrive as an actual flagship device. Reportedly, the compact phone will sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K display, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader, a periscope zoom lens, and wireless charging. The periscope lens, in particular, sets it apart from its peers, as neither the Xiaomi 17 nor similar compact devices like the upcoming OnePlus 15T and Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro are expected to offer that.
While Honor already launched the Magic8, Magic8 Pro, and MagicPad 3 tablets yesterday, the Magic 8 Mini looks primed to be a different affair, with the source indicating a launch isn't planned till next year. When the Magic8 Mini arrives, however, it's expected to do so powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 and not the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on its aforementioned siblings.
