The Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro and the RedMagic 11 Pro+ will be officially launched in China on Friday, October 17. Nubia Europe has now officially confirmed that the successor to the RedMagic 10 Pro will also come to Europe, although the exact date of the launch has not yet been announced.
The RedMagic 11 Pro inherits some of the most interesting features from its predecessor, including the selfie camera, which, like the fingerprint sensor, is invisibly installed beneath the AMOLED display, meaning the smartphone does not have a notch or punch-hole. The RedMagic 11 Pro is IP68 certified and thus water-resistant, even though the smartphone has an active fan. A new feature is that the top model also uses water cooling, which is designed to cool the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 even more effectively.
This should enable the RedMagic 11 Pro to deliver first-class gaming performance. For this target group, Nubia has also included touch-sensitive shoulder buttons and a gigantic 8,000 mAh battery, which, like its predecessor, should also be retained in the European model. What's new is that this battery can be wirelessly charged with up to 80 watts.
Nubia has already published the first sample photos, which are intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the 50 MP f/1.88 main camera with OIS. Details on the other features, such as the brightness of the AMOLED display, are expected to be officially confirmed at the launch event on Friday at the latest.
