Less than a year after launching the Honor Power, Honor has announced plans to unveil a successor. Confirmed to launch as the Honor Power 2, official renders of the upcoming smartphone have been released ahead of its launch on January 5, 2026.
The images show the Honor Power 2 sporting an entirely different design from its predecessor, albeit one that earns it the “clone” badge thanks to its striking resemblance to the iPhone 17 Pro.
The Honor Power 2 ditches the unique camera island of its predecessor for a large rectangular one. The camera island stretches from one side to the other, but still houses three rear cameras. The Power 2 also features a flat metallic frame, unlike its predecessor, which has a curved one. Honor has also changed the design of the display, as the Honor Power 2 has a circle hole for the front-facing camera and not a pill-shaped one.
The Honor Power 2 will be available in Sunburst Orange, Snowfield White, and Phantom Night Black. The phone is yet to launch, but JD.com has already begun accepting preorders. Thanks to the listing, we now know some of the specs which have not been revealed by the manufacturer.
The Power 2 will have a 6.79-inch 2640 x 1080 LTPS display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It will pack a 10,080mAh battery capacity with support for 80W fast wired charging. It will also feature 27W reverse wired charging, effectively allowing it to double as a power bank that can fast charge compatible devices.
