Motorola does not officially release the Edge 70 until November 5. However, the company has quietly released its new handset across Europe and the UK. As expected, the Edge 70 can be picked up for significantly less than its £699 and €799 MSRP after generating a promotional code via its 'Unlock The Future' promotional website.
In summary, the Edge 70 departs from the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro by returning to a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Specifically, the company equips the Edge 70 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset that it complements with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 4,800 mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 68 W wired charging. Moreover, the device finds itself with a 6.67-inch pOLED display that outputs at 1,220 x 2,712 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
On top of that, Motorola equips the Edge 70 with a trio of 50 MP primary, ultra-wide-angle and selfie cameras, all within a 159 x 74 x 5.99 mm housing that is only slightly thicker than those of the iPhone Air or Galaxy S25 Edge. Incidentally, the handset weighs just 159 g too while offering IP69 dust and water resistance. Furthermore, Motorola guarantees four major Android OS updates from Android 16 with six years of security patches also included.
Currently, Motorola bundles all Edge 70 pre-orders with complimentary Moto Tag, Moto Watch Fit, TurboPower 68W Charger and Moto Buds Loop accessories (curr. $149.99 on Amazon). Applying the company's launch campaign coupon takes £250/€300 off the handset's £699 and €799 MSRPs, though. As a result, the Edge 70 can be pre-ordered with all the accessories listed above for £449/€499, with one year of display insurance and a £50/€50 trade-in bonus thrown in for good measure too. Please see Motorola's website for more details.
