Realme has expanded its C-series lineup by introducing the all-new C85 5G and the C85 Pro smartphones in Vietnam. We have already covered the Pro variant separately, which you can read here. Specs-wise, both devices come with a similar set of features, albeit with a few tweaks. For example, the C85 Pro model ships with an AMOLED panel and Snapdragon 685 chipset, while the vanilla variant comes with MediaTek’s mid-range chipset and LCD panel.
Under the hood, the Realme C85 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It packs 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. Software-wise, it runs Android 15-based Realme UI 6 out of the box. Unfortunately, there's no word on the software support from the brand.
A large 7,000 mAh battery powers the entire unit and supports 45 W wired charging (Anker 45 W USB-C charger curr. $19.99 on Amazon). On top of that, it also supports OTG charging, which allows you to charge smartphones and accessories like earbuds and smartwatches. For photography, there’s a 50 MP Sony IMX852 rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for capturing selfies and video chats.
The Realme C85 5G boasts a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that outputs at 1570 x 720 pixel resolution with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. By contrast, the Pro model only supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. Other features include an IP69 waterproof rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor, up to 24 GB of dynamic RAM support, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 5, and NFC support.
Available in peacock green and parrot purple, the Realme C85 5G starts at VND 6,490,000 ($247), while the 8 GB + 256 GB variant costs VND 7,090,000 ($270). For more details, you can visit Realme’s official website.
