It has been five years since Carl Pei founded Nothing. Over the years, the London-based company has tried to carve a space for itself with its uniquely designed products and branding. Now, it seems Nothing is planning a rebrand based on a post on its social media accounts.
A post made by the official Nothing account on X seems to be proof that the Nothing we are familiar with now, may look different soon. The post, which has the caption “Getting ready to make history”, includes two images. One shows the familiar Nothing logo in the brand's signature NDot font, while the other also spells the Nothing brand name in a new font.
Nothing has not shared any additional teasers nor has it provided any details to the press. We have also not heard anything on the grapevine. However, a rebrand wouldn't be an unusual thing, although this early into its existence does make it surprising. In late 2024, Redmi debuted a new logo after 11 years; switching from sentence case to uppercase for the new logo.
We want to believe Nothing's rebrand might also come with some changes to how the business operates, and by extension, its products. Last year, it announced the Nothing Phone (3) (available on Amazon.de for €596.96) without the familiar LED-based Glyph Interface, instead, adopting a monochrome secondary display dubbed Glyph Matrix.
