Oppo is not expected to launch the Find X9 Ultra in China for a while yet. Nonetheless, both the unreleased smartphone and its official teleconverter accessory have been spotted in a new leak.
For context, Oppo is rumoured to have based the Find X9 Ultra around a 200 MP primary camera with a 1/1.12-inch optical format. Easily surpassing the 1/1.3-inch equivalent inside the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,041 on Amazon) that is also rumoured to feature inside the Galaxy S26 Ultra, this 200 MP primary lens is expected to dovetail with a 200 MP telephoto camera delivering a 1/1.28-inch sensor size.
Moreover, recent leaks indicate that the Find X9 Ultra will leverage the 50 MP ISOCELL JN5 for ultra-wide-angle and 10x telephoto purposes. However, the ISOCELL JN5 is a relatively small sensor at 1/2.76-inches. Seemingly, this is where Oppo's teleconverter accessory comes in.
Based on the images above and below, the accessory is more complex than the one Oppo offers for the Find X9 Pro. For instance, it seems that Oppo has included additional zoom rings. Also, it looks as though the Find X9 Ultra's teleconverter has a beefier lens than the Find X9 Pro's equivalent. Currently, Oppo is anticipated to launch the Find X9 Ultra this quarter with a global release planned too later this year.
