Vivo is not finished with the X200 series yet, despite launching the X300 and X300 Pro last year. Instead, it will soon be returning to its last-generation flagship series with the X200T. Rumoured since November, the Vivo X200T is likely to be positioned as a larger and more premium alternative to the X200 FE while also surpassing the X200 in the same breath.
To that end, Vivo equips the X200T with the Dimensity 9400 Plus. A 3 nm chipset with Cortex-X92, Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720 CPU cores, the Dimensity 9400 Plus can also be found in sub-flagship smartphones like the X200s, Ace 5 Ultra and the Xiaomi 15T Pro globally (curr. $844.50 on Amazon). Additionally, Vivo has included a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an alleged 5,000 nits peak brightness.
Not only that, but the Vivo X200T contains 50 MP (1/1.56-inch) primary, 50 MP tele-macro (1/1.95-inch) and 50 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras. Also, the X200T boasts a 6,200 mAh battery that can be recharged at 40 W wirelessly or 90 W using a wired connection. According to leakers like Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo X200T will start at INR 59,999 (~$659) when it launches on January 27 at 12:00 in India (06:30 UTC). Whether the Vivo X200T also receives a full global release remains unclear at this stage.
