Earlier today, RedMagic launched the RedMagic 11 Air in China. Its latest gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Air serves as a thinner and cheaper alternative to the existing RedMagic 11 Pro while sacrificing some of the latter's performance in the process.
Now, RedMagic has confirmed initial launch details for the device's global release. On the one hand, the RedMagic 11 Air will feature the same hardware globally as in China with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset backed by a 7,000 mAh battery to eclipse modern flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,049 on Amazon). Moreover, the smartphone will feature an active cooling solution to prevent thermal throttling.
Currently, RedMagic indicates that the RedMagic 11 Air will launch on January 29 at 12:00 UTC. However, the company does not actually start selling devices on the initial launch day shown on its website. Instead, January 29 probably represents when it will open its pre-sale process and reveal pricing information. Please see our RedMagic 11 Air launch article for more details.
