Following the China launch, Motorola has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Signature, in the Indian market. Interested buyers can choose from Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive colorways. As for price, the Signature starts at Rs 59,999 (~$654.47) for the base 12 GB + 256 GB model, while the 16 GB + 512 GB and the high-end 16 GB + 1 TB models are priced at Rs 64,999 (~$709) and Rs 69,999 (~$763.55), respectively. It will be available through Motorola India’s official website and Flipkart starting January 30th.
The Motorola Signature is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. Software-wise, it runs Android 16 out of the box. This time around, Motorola has committed to long-term software support, promising a total of seven Android OS upgrades (Android 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23) and seven years of security patches until 2033.
The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50 MP LYT-828 OIS-enabled primary camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom support. It has a 50 MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
Furthermore, Motorola has outfitted a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 2780 x 1264p resolution, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,200 nits. The rest of the highlights include dual stereo speakers, an IP69/IP68 water resistance rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90 W wired, 50 W wireless, 10 W reverse wireless, and 5 W reverse wired charging support.
