Samsung is not expected to officially replace the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus or the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,049 on Amazon) until the end of next month. Nonetheless, various leaks and rumours continue to detail Samsung's future flagships ahead of time. For instance, next-generation Corning Gorilla Glass is now anticipated to grace the Galaxy S26 Ultra, among other upgrades.
Now, the Galaxy S26 Plus has turned up on Geekbench in a new set of leaks. Specifically, its South Korean variant has emerged on the popular benchmarking platform, denoted by the 'N' in its SM-S947N model number. If there was any doubt, the Galaxy S26 Plus will feature 12 GB of RAM, rather than some flagships and modern gaming smartphones.
Additionally, the Geekbench listings confirm that Samsung will release the Galaxy S26 Plus in some markets with its Exynos 2600 chipset. Based on previous generations, Samsung will offer Exynos 2600 variants in South Korea and Europe, with other markets receiving Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered variants instead.
Regardless, the Exynos 2600 inside the Galaxy S26 Plus here outperforms comparable benchmarks for the Galaxy S26. Added to that, scores of 24,964 and 25,791 put the Exynos 2600 and its Xclipse 960 GPU at Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 levels in the Geekbench 6 OpenCL benchmarks. Whether this translates to real-world performance will remain unknown until independent reviews starting arriving in late February or early March.
