A smartphone with a massive 10,000 mAh battery, which was shown as a prototype last year, finally hits the stores. Realme has officially introduced its latest P4 Power smartphone in the global market, joining the Realme P4 and the Realme P4 Pro in the brand’s roster. The main highlight of the smartphone is its gigantic 10,001 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging.
Unfortunately, there’s no wireless charging support here. However, it does support 27 W reverse charging, and according to the company, it can charge an iPhone 16 Pro (curr. at $640.12 on Amazon) to 50% in just 27 minutes. The silicon-carbon battery is said to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 8 years of use or 1,650 charging cycles.
Software-wise, the smartphone runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. The company promises 3 major OS upgrades (Android 17, 18, and 19) and four years of security patches until 2030. Besides the massive battery capacity, the Realme P4 Power is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset paired with a 4,613 mm² vapor chamber and up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support storage expansion.
The rear camera module houses a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS-enabled primary sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 112° field of view. Upfront, you’re getting a 16 MP snapper for selfies and video chats. Despite boasting such a large battery capacity, the device measures just 0.90 cm (0.30 inches) in thickness and weighs around 219 grams (0.48 lbs).
Unlike the Realme P4 with a flat display, the P4 Power 5G is equipped with a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display that delivers 2800 x 1280p resolution with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Additionally, it comes with a Hyper Vision+ AI chip and IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance ratings.
As for price, the Realme P4 Power 5G starts at INR 27,999 (~$304.28) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant, while the 8 GB + 256 GB and the 12 GB + 256 GB models are priced at INR 29,999 (~$326.02) and INR 32,999 (~$358.62), respectively. Interested buyers can choose from trans orange, trans blue, and trans silver colorways. It will be available for purchase from 5th February via Realme's official store.
