Honor Magic V6: Largest battery on a foldable but widespread release potentially delayed

Honor has confirmed its plans to unveil the Magic V6, its premium foldable phone for the year, at MWC next week. The Magic V6 will succeed last year's Magic V5, and new leaks have now revealed some more information on the foldable.
According to Roland Quandt, while the Magic V6 will be unveiled shortly, the phone is unlikely to go on sale till much later in the year. Across Europe, at least. Previous entries in the series have all released around July, so this wouldn't be surprising. In China, though, the Magic V6 is expected to fully debut on March 1.
Release date speculations aside, the Magic V6 looks geared to be one of the more impressive foldables this year. For one, it's said to feature the largest battery on a foldable phone yet. That was also a marketing line with the Magic V5, but the V6 is expected to sport an even larger 6,850 mAh battery. In addition, the foldable is said to be waterproof, dust-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. Lastly, unlike the Oppo Find N6, the Magic V6 will be powered by the standard octa-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
