Honor Magic V6: First pictures show ultra-thin foldable phone in dark red

For the first time ever, an Honor flagship phone will first debut outside China. The Honor Magic V6 is set to make its Chinese debut after its official reveal at MWC 2026 in Barcelona on March 1, 2026. That does not necessarily mean that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 competitor will launch in Europe first. In China, the phone is expected to become available sometime in March, shortly after Lunar New Year celebrations. Even so, early images of the thin Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered foldable are already circulating on the Chinese social media website Weibo.
Numerous accounts seem to be sharing the same photos, which were apparently taken during a photo shoot for an Honor Magic V6 commercial. The new Honor foldable is rather clearly to see in the hands of Nicholas Tse, a well-known actor and singer from Hong Kong. It’s unknown if these images have been published officially or unofficially. Either way, the primary color option for the Honor Magic V6 appears to be dark red, seemingly an even deeper red than the Honor Magic V5. Other colors have also been mentioned.
Otherwise, the foldable’s design seemingly hasn’t changed much. The Magic V6 is still extremely thin, possibly even thinner than its predecessor. Earlier leaks also suggest that one color variant will be slimmer, while the Chinese model variant will launch with a larger battery. Meanwhile, the rear camera bump still looks like an octagon, and when folded, the device does not look any thicker than a regular smartphone. Along with the latest Snapdragon chipset, the handset is also expected to sport a 200MP camera.
