New Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra leaks reveal global release date and complete pricing information

Xiaomi has not officially commented on replacing the Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Xiaomi 15 outside China yet. Nonetheless, pricing information for international versions of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra has surfaced online in the last few weeks. Now, leaker billbil-kun has weighed in with more information about the pair's upcoming global releases.
Writing on Dealabs, billbil-kun reiterates that the Xiaomi 17 will retail for €1,099 (~$1,303) including VAT with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. However, the leaker expands on a prior leak by adding that the compact flagship will start at €999 (~$1,185) with half as much storage. In other words, the Xiaomi 17 will cost just as much globally as its predecessor (curr. $809 on Amazon).
Likewise, billbil-kun aligns with an earlier leak about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra starting at €1,499 (~$1,777). Equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, this variant is also expected to feature a 6,000 mAh battery rather than the 6,800 mAh equivalent found in Chinese models. Alternatively, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be available with 1 TB of storage for a €200 (~$235) surcharge. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to release both smartphones globally on February 28.
