Xiaomi's Leica Edition flagship confirmed for new global release
Xiaomi's special edition flagship appears to be on track to receive a global release. To recap, the company presented the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition simultaneously alongside the regular Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra with the model number 25128PNA1C and innovative zoom controls.
Recently, leaks have focused on global availability of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. In short, various sources expect the pair to match the prices of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and its smaller sibling (curr. $809 on Amazon). While equivalent details about the Leica Edition remain unknown for now, the global version has finally appeared on Geekbench under the model number 25128PNA1G.
Based on a recent regulatory body certification, Xiaomi may offer this global variant as the 'Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi' rather than simply the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition. Regardless of its name, the Geekbench leak signals that someone is actively testing this global model ahead of its official release.
