Sporting a design reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro, a programmable action button and a secondary rear display, the brand-new Infinix Note 60 Pro stands out from the mid-range competition. A fast Snapdragon chip and a 6,500 mAh battery promise strong performance.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro has a brand-new design that was clearly inspired by the Apple iPhone 17 Pro. From the flat aluminum frame to the rectangular camera module that spans almost the entire width of the smartphone to the orange finish, the Note 60 Pro comes in silver, gray, blue, brown and black.

The housing also features a few unique elements. Firstly, a programmable action button that can launch an AI assistant or open the camera app, among other things. Secondly, a dot matrix display in the camera module that can indicate incoming messages, show the time or display a virtual pet. Lastly, a "Health Monitor" – what looks like a camera shutter button is actually a heart rate and SpO2 sensor. To take a measurement, users simply place their finger on this sensor for 30 seconds.

Snapdragon chip doubles performance

Technically, the most significant upgrade compared to the Infinix Note 50 Pro is the replacement of the MediaTek Helio G100 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. This gives the Note 60 Pro a 5G modem and almost double the processing power. The chip is paired with 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage. The battery capacity increases to 6,500 mAh and can be charged either via USB-C with up to 90 watts or wirelessly with 30 watts.

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2,644 x 1,208, 144 Hz, a full-screen brightness of 1,600 nits, and a peak HDR brightness of 4,500 nits. Infinix has included a 13 MP f/2.2 selfie camera, a 50 MP f/1.59 main camera with OIS, and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. The Infinix Note 60 Pro is only IP64 certified and so not completely waterproof. The model is expected to receive three major Android updates.

Price and availability

Infinix has not yet confirmed when or at what price the Note 60 Pro will be launched. Since the Note 50 Pro was also available in Europe, the chances of an international launch are good. Further information about the mid-range smartphone can be found on the official product page.
